In the Garden

 Botany

Our botany discussions and explorations continue in the classroom and in the garden.  As the children continue to prepare the garden outside, some of our seeds are already germinating in our greenhouse inside.  The children are learning about parts of the seed, parts of the plant, and parts of the flower, as well as what it takes to grow a healthy garden.
Transplanting sprouts from seeds, which the children germinated inside.  Sunflower and corn stalks partner well with climbing plants like beans and peas.
